The Hyde Park Jeweler at 4285 Albany Post Road is celebrating its 55th Anniversary.  Originally on Main Street in Hyde Park, the business was established October 7, 1954, by Nicholas Cusher.  His daughter, Laurie Cusher, has been involved in the family business since 1975.  Cusher, of the City of Poughkeepsie, graduated from the Queens County-based Joseph Bulova School of Watchmaking in 1975.  The store features hand selected fine jewelry and Chamilia Beads and also has a full-time bench jeweler.  For information, call 845-229-2021
